Who is LEAM?

Leam was born in 1950. In its 74 year history, it has continued to grow in both the physical and digital space, establishing itself as a leader in the luxury fashion sector in Rome. Today Leam is managed by the second and third generation of the Leam family.

Account

How can I create an account?

On the homepage, click at the top right under LOGIN/REGISTER and enter your details in the appropriate section, proceed with registration and wait for the confirmation email. Otherwise, you can set a password to create an account at checkout, after entering your details.

What are Leam Points?

You collect points for every purchase you make on Leam.com. The points are calculated on the cart total with discounts/promotions applied, but shipping costs or other additional charges are not included in the calculation. For further information visit our dedicated page

How can I change my account password?

Click at the top right on the LOGIN/REGISTER option on the homepage and proceed with the forgotten password link.

Why didn't I receive the coupon after signing up to the site?

To receive the coupon you must subscribe to the newsletter. Are you sure you signed up for the newsletter or entered the correct email? It could have ended up in SPAM, have you checked? You may have already received the coupon and used it. In case of further doubts contact us at info@leam.com.

How does Leam handle and protect customers' personal information?

We manage your data in compliance with all current regulations under the GDPR pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Products

How are sizes converted?

Each product sheet on our website contains indications about the item fit and other detailed information on the measurements of the garments, that we receive directly from the concerned brand. In case of doubts you can check on the brand's website or contact us at info@leam.com.

Are the articles original?

Leam is an authorized reseller of all the brands that you can find online and in our boutique in Rome.
The most important high fashion designers entrust Leam with their authentic and exclusive clothing, shoes, bags and accessories.
The products sold and the producing brands are carefully selected by our buyers for their rigorous selection and quality standards.

What does the star next to the product represent?

We add a star symbol to the product to indicate that it is excluded from current promotions or sales.
Leam may change the status of the aforementioned items at any time.
These products are also excluded from the newsletter coupon.

Why can't I buy some brands?

Due to company policy, some brands are only available in boutiques.
You are welcome to our store to enjoy the Leam shopping experience and the best luxury brands.

When will an item be available again?

The availability on Leam website reflects the actual quantities in stock and ready for sale. We don't know when out of stock items will be back in stock. We recommend you adding all the products you want to your wishlist (by clicking on the heart ♥) to be the first to know when they return. Furthermore, just one click is enough to move an item from the wishlist to the cart.

Why do prices change?

The prices on Leam website reflect the image and importance of the brands.
During promotions and sales, prices may vary, depending also on the season.

How long is the warranty on the purchased products?

The rules regarding the guarantee on online purchases are regulated at European and national level. Here are the main points of reference for the European Union:

Every good purchased by a consumer is covered by a legal guarantee of conformity for two years starting from delivery of the product. This guarantee is provided for by the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 6 September 2005, n. 206).

Exclusions and limitations

It is important to note that some exclusions or limitations may apply:

  1. Wear and tear: defects due to normal wear and tear, misuse of the product or incorrect treatment/washing/ironing or other processes not explicitly declared by the manufacturer are not covered by the legal guarantee.

  2. Personalized products: the right of withdrawal may not apply to personalized or tailor-made products.

  3. Documentation: it is necessary to keep the proof of purchase (receipt, invoice) in order to take advantage of the legal guarantee.

Shipping

When will my order be shipped?

Your order will be processed and shipped within 24/48 working hours after receiving the payment. Subsequently, delivery times depend on the country of destination following the respective indications:

No responsibility can be attributed to LEAM for delayed or failed delivery attributable to force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances.

Deliveries are made on weekdays from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.

When does free shipping apply?

Free shipping depends on the destination country and the order amount.
For Italy and European countries, it applies for amounts exceeding €450, current season;
For the United States of America, it applies for orders over €700, current season;
For any other country in the rest of the world, it applies for amounts exceeding €900, current season.
Free shipping cannot be combined with other promotions or products on sale.

How can I change the shipping address?

The address can be changed immediately after placing the order and before it is shipped.
There is no guarantee that the exchange will take place and for no reason can it be changed after shipment.
The change must be requested exclusively by email to info@leam.com.
Leam is relieved of any responsibility for any incorrect deliveries.

Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?

For shipments to Italy and the European Union there are no duties to apply and VAT is always included.

Any other charges, for example administrative taxes or charges required by the legislation of the country of destination, DO NOT fall under the previous rules and will be counted later in the customs clearance phase.

The application of the previous rules, as well as any failure to apply or modify them, will be the responsibility of the relevant customs.

LEAM will always be of support in the event of a dispute but it will be the recipient's responsibility to intercede with their customs in case of doubts or failure to comply.

How should I pay import duties?

The payment methods are communicated by the courier responsible for shipping, before or after delivery.
When duties are required by law, they are required to be paid to the government.
No responsibility can be attributed to LEAM for what is charged or requested by customs.

Payments

What are the payment methods?

The main payment methods are: bank transfer, American Express credit and debit cards, Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Klarna, Alipay, Union pay, JCB, Wechatpay.
Availability may vary by country and will be shown at checkout.

Can I pay in another currency?

Currently it is only possible to pay in Euros (€).

How can I know if the payment was successful?

After each order you will receive an email confirming payment and acceptance of the order.

How do I pay in installments with Klarna?

Upon checkout you will be redirected to the Klarna partner page, you will need to create an account if you don't have one.
Proceed with the simple instructions provided and wait for our confirmation email.

How does payment in installments work with PayPal?/div>

How is credit card information protected during the payment process?

The data you use for payment are acquired directly by the manager of the requested payment service without being processed in any way by Leam Roma.

Why didn't I receive the confirmation email?

How can I change or cancel my order?

The order can be changed immediately after receiving the confirmation email or before it is shipped. It is not guaranteed that the exchange will take place and under no circumstances can it be modified after shipment.
The change or cancellation must be requested exclusively by email to info@leam.com.

How can I track the status of my order after making the purchase?

After making the purchase, our team prepares the Leam package for you and ships it;
after shipping you will receive an email with the tracking code to be able to track your order.

Can I collect my order in store?

It is not possible to collect purchases made online directly in store, online orders only include shipping via partner courier.

Returns

Can I make a return? How can I do it?

To request a return you must log in with the account you placed the order with, enter your reserved area and follow the guided procedure from the RETURNS section. For further information you can consult the dedicated click here.

When will I receive my refund?

Generally, refund times are 3/5 days from receipt of the return in store.

What are the shipping costs for a return?

Being the customer's responsibility, the return is at his care and expense. You can choose an express or postal courier. It can be requested within 14 days of delivery.

How do returns work with PayPal pay in installments?

If you have already paid your installments and the refund amount is greater than your remaining balance, your PayPal account will be refunded.

If the refund amount is less than the remaining amount to be paid, the refund will be split equally between the 2 remaining installments and these will be adjusted accordingly.
For example:
Total order: €100
Installment 1 = €33.33
Installment 2 = €33.33
Installment 3 = €33.33

If you return items worth €50 after having already paid the first installment, the €50 will be deducted from the remaining balance and installments 2 and 3 will be recalculated.
The remaining balance before the return is (€33.33 + €33.34) - €50.00 (value of the returned item) = €16.67.
The sum will be divided into the two remaining installments.

Installment 1 = €33.33 PAID
Installment 2 = €8.33
Installment 3 = €8.34

How do returns work with Klarna Pay in Installments?

A refund for an item returned within 28 starting from the day the package was delivered, or available for collection, will appear in your Klarna account within a maximum of 10 working days and the amount will be refunded in full to the same card used to place your order.

What happens if I return all the items in the order?
Your Klarna invoice will be updated and you will receive your refund within 10 working days or a gift voucher, according to the terms above.
If subsequent installments have not yet been paid, your scheduled payments will be canceled by Klarna.

What happens if I only return part of my order?
If there are still installments to pay, these will be updated based on the returned items.
A refund will reduce the balance owed, which may mean eliminating an installment or reducing the amount of remaining installments.
Regardless of the warehouse from which your items were shipped, you will be able to make your returns following the usual procedure for each item: create your return from the site or via 'My Account' as usual.

How will your Klarna account be updated after a refund?
Here is an example:
Total order value: € 120
First instalment: € 40
Returned amount: € 20
Returned amount: €20 Updated amount of the second and third instalments: € 30
If, in another case, the value of the refund was €60, the second and third installments would be €10.
If you have already paid more than the amount of the items you have retained, you will receive a refund of the difference from Klarna within 10 working days or a gift voucher, according to the deadlines indicated above.

Can I make a partial return?

Partial returns can be made using the same procedure as total returns as described below:

How can I stay updated on future promotions or special sales?

If you have signed up to the website or to the newsletter you will receive a promotional code to use on Leam.com. You can enter this code during checkout. Each code has a start and end date of validity and this time limit cannot be extended in any way. Furthermore, you will always stay updated on our latest collections, news and events.
Promotions relating to leam.com are regulated as follows:
- Coupon codes are not valid on products marked with a star (★), on products with already active promotions and on products on sale;
- If you enter a coupon code, this will automatically cancel any other active promotions on the cart and at checkout;
- Coupon codes can be combined with Gift Cards and Leam Points.

How can I purchase a gift card?

You can purchase a virtual gift card to give to someone you love via the link.

How do coupons work?

Our coupons are designed and created for our customers from all over the world!
